was born out of desire to teach our
Baptist brethren in America and around the world the truth of
where we have come from. For too long, the truth of our
Baptist heritage and influence in this country has been
hidden. Most of the influence of Baptists in America has been
written out of modern history
books. These books instead favor the views of the Catholic or
Protestant churches. However, Baptists have played much more
of a role in the history of this nation than any modern historian
gives credit. Recently, there has been a resurgence of
teaching Baptist history in our independent Baptist churches.
We want to take it a step farther, and bring this history to
life. God has assembled an amazing group of believers at
Shiloh Baptist Church to make this possible.
Our pastor, Evangelist Mac G. Woody, has
devoted his entire life to the ministry of planting true
Baptist churches and teaching people the doctrines of God's
word. It is through his desire and leadership that Shiloh
Films was founded. His hope and desire with this ministry is
that Baptists will realize who they are, where they came from,
and will be more committed to keeping to the doctrines which
define what a true Baptist is.
When you see what the costs were of
those who went before to give us the freedoms we so richly
enjoy today, your heart can not help but be stirred with the
sufferings of our forefathers. Shiloh Films wants to help
keep those who gave all so that we could be free, alive in our
hearts and minds. We pray that God will touch your heart to
take a stand and never be ashamed to be called a Baptist!
